Property description
In buying this apartment you are buying your own little piece of history in the Cathedral City of Canterbury. This pretty part flint building was originally a Victorian school. Supposedly built in 1862. Some years later it was converted into apartments and here we have for sale one of the ground floor apartments. The position is perfect, within St Dunstans just off the London Road you turn into St Dunstans Court from St Dunstans Terrace. So close to the city centre and Canterbury West Station that you may find you no longer need your car, however, you get your very own off road parking space for you to leave it in. With all the shops, buses, trains and public house just moments away from you, you might be worried about the noise level however it is surprisingly quiet tucked away in the old courtyard here. The vendor advises that she owns a share of the freehold.
What the Owner says:
This has been just the perfect apartment for me in Canterbury. Although I do have a car I am able to walk to work every day and the new Sainsbury’s opening up in St Dunstan’s High Street has been a god send! I can pop out in the morning to pick up a paper and a fresh croissant from there without having to go into the City Centre, it only takes a few minutes to walk there.
