Property description

The beautiful setting will always be something to admire with an orchard neighbouring the property. The current owner’s son does not like birthday cake, so when it is his birthday they always make an apple pie from the orchard.

This end of terrace cottage, which is one of four leads down to a very large garden, where there is plenty of room for a swing, slide and trampoline too. The garden is in two parts, one side is lawn and the other side slopes up where there is plenty of room for a garden office or cabin, where there is access to the road.

The lounge is the perfect room in the winter months and the sound of wood crackling in the open fire creates a cosy atmosphere. The open plan kitchen/diner will be where all the family will gather, morning, noon and night at meal times, where the children can also finish off their homework.

Off road parking always tends to be one of the many things buyers are looking for. You will not be disappointed here, as there is plenty of parking at either end of the home, as well as extra parking in the communal area. This is ideal if you are a family with more than one car and if visitors come to stay.

Stodmarsh National Nature Reserve park is approx 0.9 miles away.

What the Owner says:

Canterbury Christchurch University initially bought us to the area and the plan was once we had passed our degrees to move out of the area. We loved it here so much we decided to stay.

The location of our home is great, it is only a short drive away from the train stations, which is convenient as I commute to work. As we were thinking of starting a family, we wanted somewhere with a spacious garden that was safe for our children to play and enjoy. We were certainly not disappointed here.

20 years have now passed and the family have now all grown up, and we are now looking for somewhere smaller as they have all now flown the nest.
