Property description

This is a really charming cottage located in the heart of this friendly village.

There are not many character properties here which makes this particularly special.

What works so well with this cottage is the versatile accommodation. The lounge and dining areas are open plan but are used separately at present to offer two zones, with a feature fireplace to cosy up in front of perhaps after a long day or a country walk.

Unlike most older style properties, there is no compromise to be made. There is a driveway, good accommodation, a pleasant rear garden and even scope to extend (subject to planning permission).

The current owners have found the conservatory to be a great extra room which enjoys a view of the rear garden and has proved to be a perfect location for his cactus plants to flourish and grow.

Something different from the rest is how I would describe this homely cottage, so if you like older style properties this would be ideal for you.

What the Owner says:

We loved this cottage as soon as we viewed it. It is a charming 1930s character cottage with plenty of space and a small manageable rear garden.

The cottage is set in a small rural village on the edge of the South Downs National Park and near the coast; ideal for dog walking, cycling and kayaking which we love to do. It is within easy commute of London, Gatwick and Brighton, which is handy for work, holidays and city shopping.

It is only a short walk to a large community shop and post office. There are other great facilities in the village, nearly all that you need on your doorstep. With an allotment on a nearby farm, we really do have the 'good life'.
