After many years of running public houses I decided to retire and really wanted to be close to Horsham as I have a good network of friends there. After looking at a number of flats and maisonettes I was becoming a bit despondent as I really wanted my own garden and that was proving difficult to find. A friend of mine told me that they had seen a maisonette with a garden in Southwater. I thought it sounded perfect and decided to have a look and really loved the feel of it and the garden just blew me away. It was exactly what I was after and I wasted no time in securing it.

I have been very happy here for 14 years and the neighbours are wonderful but I have decided to buy a property in Greece.
