This home comes with a wartime story where a couple in the 40’s fell in love. Our lovely gentleman, a Shanklin boy, met his Lancashire lass whilst stationed ‘up North’ during the war. They married in 1946 and after living with his aunt for a few years they moved into this house and spent a wonderful life here. A few years ago, our lovely gentleman passed away leaving his beautiful wife alone. The house is too big for her now and she has happily moved into a residential home where she can get the support and care she needs. It’s such a lovely story behind this home which is full of happy memories and the family are sad to let it go as they spent so many years visiting our lovely couple on the beautiful Isle of Wight.
