“This has been a wonderful home to bring up our family over the past 22 years and we have thoroughly enjoyed refurbishing and extending the house during that time to suit our growing needs. We shall be very sad to leave but our requirements have changed and we feel it is the right time to make a move. We were so keen to buy the house when we first visited it that we actually managed to finalise all the sale arrangements and move in just two weeks after we first saw it! During the time we have lived here we have built the conservatory, put in the modern kitchen and bathrooms, created the office above the garage, redesigned the garden and added the loft conversion to provide more space for our children – and it has all been a real labour of love.
We love the historic Cinque Port town of Hythe as it is such a friendly place. We often find if we go into town on a Saturday morning for a coffee we are always meeting people we know. The house is only a minute from the Military Canal with its wonderful walks and cycle rides. It is about a mile to the centre of the town with its range of supermarkets including Waitrose and Sainsburys, individual shops, restaurants and pubs as well as the world’s smallest public railway. We are also quite close to the beach and the Imperial Hotel with its golf course and other sporting facilities and for true golfing enthusiasts the renowned Sene Valley golf course designed by Henry Cotton is only about one and a half miles away.
