Property description
Tucked away down a gravel driveway, this stunning cottage offers a getaway from it all, relaxed atmosphere as it is surrounded by gardens on all sides and although you can pull up to off load shopping etc, it is a traffic free location. The large garden which is overlooked from the kitchen, allows your children to let off steam under the watchful eye of mum or dad and the spacious cottage dining room means that homework can be finished or the children can play at the table whilst dinner is being prepared in the adjacent fitted kitchen. With a cosy and comfortable lounge to cuddle up in front of the wood burning stove of an evening and two bedrooms on the first floor and a parents retreat on the second floor, it provides an ideal accommodation for young families and those looking for a peaceful home to shut out the hustle of modern day life. Ideally situated, a leisurely stroll takes you into the picturesque Emsworth town centre with its independent retailers and choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants. After stocking up on all the essentials wonder back via the Mill Pond and feed the ducks or if you have more time to spare time strike out along the costal path towards Langstone and enjoy watching dinghy's and sailboats of all sizes in Chichester harbour, and with a main line train station within easy walking distance and excellent road links too this is an ideally located home for a variety of users and we recommend an early viewing to avoid disappointment.
What the Owner says:
We looked at a lot of properties before finding this cottage and we were immediately attracted to it by its tucked away, safe and secure location. It is extremely quiet here with no passing traffic or noise, which makes it ideal for me as I work nights and sleep through the day. We loved the character of it and since moving in have added the log burner and the loft room which is now our master bedroom. It is warm, cosy and comfortable throughout and the neighbours are lovely too. We were planning on staying here for at least another five years, but the house of our dreams has come on the market so we have decided to move this forward but hope that the next owners enjoy it as much as we have.
