Property description

Positioned on Keycol Hill is a home that, if you are looking for space, charm and character, coupled with a convenient location, then this detached Victorian cottage is a must for anyone’s viewing list.

The home from the front oozes kerb appeal, but is complimented by outstanding living space for the modern family to enjoy.

Most notably is the 32’ lounge area/family room/dining area/study, which reaches from front to back of the home and provides an open, ample living and play area for the family to enjoy together. At dinner time, move through to the dining area where the family can sit around the table and catch up on the day’s events together.

Boasting a family bathroom and shower room, you will never find a queue on the landing in the morning and with four evenly spaced bedrooms, there will be no arguing from the kids over which rooms is theirs.

In the summer, retire to the rear garden, which has an ornate bridge covering the pond and a Koi carp pond with a water feature, where you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer and watch the sun go down. The car-port will hold two cars, plus a garage, providing ample parking for the family as well!

Wrap this up into a home that is conveniently positioned for either the A249 and Newington or Rainham station.

What the Owner says:

We bought our cottage a little over thirteen years ago ,after looking at various types of homes, it was the charm and character alongside the space, that this home provided that made us want to view it. Once we were inside we were taken aback by the living accommodation, the bedrooms and the lovely rear garden, which we have made the most of during the summer.

Since owning the cottage we have put in a ground floor shower room, landscaped the garden and fitted a new kitchen and bathroom, just to put our own little mark on the property. Now is the time to find somewhere a little smaller as the kids have all flown the nest!
