In our opinion it’s the perfect house for a couple/young family, in a great location with a very quiet yet wonderfully friendly village atmosphere.
The main deciding factors for us at the time were the close location of the school, the large conservatory, which gave us a second room downstairs, and the fact the property had planning permission to extend to the side (since lapsed although we would imagine it should be attainable again).
We love the convenience of the area. The local station (Zone 5) is a 5-minute drive and with free parking, London is only 30 minutes away. There are two shops that sell all the essentials, a post office, fine country pub and local park all within 2 minutes walk!
