Property description
Why did the current owner buy this fantastic house? Schooling and budget were the answers! She had been searching for almost 6 months for a property in the Nork area after hearing about the excellent reputation of Warren Mead Primary school. However she was finding properties for sale hard to come by.
As she drove by for the first time she loved the fact it looks detached and was pretty in appearance. Set in a corner plot position and with the school less than 200 metres away, it's ideally situated, but not too close to the school to be intrusive.
Nork village had everything she needed from restaurants and tea rooms, to a doctors’ surgery, hairdressers and a post office.
Internally all the necessities were in place for a family - a downstairs cloakroom, a conservatory to hide away the childrens' toys and a very impressive sized original third bedroom.
Many improvements have been made to the property. Within the last 2 to 3 years, the current owners have invested extensively in their home converting the loft into a new master bedroom, with a luxury four piece bath/wet room with toilet, complete with a mirrored fitted TV at the end of the bath, fitted a new kitchen, replaced all internal doors, the family bathroom, updated the cloakroom, renewed most of the carpets and laid a new patio to improve the garden.
What the Owner says:
I never looked back after buying this house. The area is safe for all of my children to play in. I can walk them to school in 3 minutes and it's so beautifully green and leafy here, I just love it.
When the children get restless I walk them to the park 5 minutes away, which was recently updated, they love to let off steam there!
When I am entertaining the large driveway comes in handy as it manages to hold 4 cars. I have also enjoyed many beautiful sunsets in the garden. I will be sad to leave, but it's time to move on, and I hope someone else can enjoy this house as much as I have.
