Property description

If you want the peace and quiet that village life can offer but want the convenience of a main town this historic "Arts and Crafts" home could be perfect for you. Driving up the private road it is hard to spot this home which is tucked away behind mature shrubs.

You can imagine friends and family coming round in the summer months and really making the garden, which is 0.288 acres, part of the living space. With the sun beating down you can enjoy a summer cocktail and easily feel like you are on holiday on the continent. What a lovely way to live. On the colder evenings you can still enjoy the commanding views in the comfort of the lounge.

With a substantial double garage and driveway, it makes it easy to park the car, and even leaves some space for something that you only use on special occasions.

The village of Temple Ewell has a great community where you can choose to opt into some of the social clubs available or just enjoy the quiet life. There are some amazing walks around the village and you can even stop off at the local pub and have a pint on the way home.

It is also ideal for commuting as there are so many road and bus links to Dover, Folkestone and Canterbury close by as well as nearby Kearsney train station.

What the Owner says:

My wife and I wanted to live in a rural location but still be close to main towns and this house fitted perfectly. Now it is very easy to commute to Ashford or Canterbury in 25 minutes, London on the fast train from Dover Priory in just over an hour and Paris in less than 2 hours on the Eurostar.

When we first saw this house we knew it would be a lovely family home and we have enjoyed living here. The peace and quiet, along with the fresh air and uninterrupted views of sunrises and sunsets are particularly spectacular. We love the woodland garden and have put a lot of sweat and tears into making it how it is and keeping up with the maintenance.
