Running parallel to Martell Drive are the listed 16th-century wall and gates associated with the original 16th century "Bury" Manor House. The Bury Manor House has been demolished and rebuilt on two occasions since the 16th century (most recently during the 1800s) and the estate is scheduled for further sympathetic development with parkland as neighbours gradually settle with the owners' plans.
