Originally built in 1855 before being split into two flats around the 1950s, it all started when I bought the basement flat in 2002. When the other flat came up for sale some 7 years later, I knew instantly that I had to buy it in an attempt to restore the house to its former glory and the flats were soon converted back into one large house. Naturally, a huge amount of work has been done from extending and replacing the kitchen, to fitting a new bathroom and shower room and adding the new cloakroom downstairs too. Every room has been re-decorated, including the staircase which was also re-carpeted too. It has been a great home for a family and the location is truly second to none with good schools nearby including the ever popular St Paul's and also all three train stations.
