When I bought my house some 10 years ago, I was a lady living on my own so I was very mindful that I wanted to be somewhere that felt like a safe area.
After looking at lots of properties, I came to view this and I was struck by how quiet the area was and it was so easy to be able to park, as there is plenty of roadside parking front and back.
There was also a good amount of living space and when I bought it, the study was being used as an additional bedroom.
In 2012, I had all the windows double glazed and put in double glazed French doors to the dining area and a new composite front door.
I immediately saw a huge difference in my utility bills and I now pay around £60 a month for gas and electric combined which is really good considering there are 3 of us living here.
