Property description
Once in a while, a unique home comes onto the market that you can't fail to fall in love with. Set in beautiful gardens, this flint stone character detached residence will surely grab your attention, right from the word 'go'.
Originally the Bailiff’s cottage for Fryern Farm, it is situated in an attractive and semi-rural setting in the historical village of Chaldon, right on the edge of woodlands and open fields.
Inside, the lounge/diner has plenty of space for when family and friends visit. If you fancy relaxing, then you can sit in the conservatory and unwind at the end a long day. The two bedrooms have been opened out but they can be quite easily re-instated, if needed.
Outside, the gardens are a true delight, whether you want to exercise those green fingers or feel like sitting in the sun to enjoy a barbecue with friends. The choice is yours to do whatever you want. There is even a workshop at the rear of the home you can hide away in!
One of the beauties of this property is the excellent potential it has as a property development.
Subject to the necessary planning consents, there is plenty of scope to extend and increase the space available to suit your needs, whilst still being able to maintain the true essence of what this home offers - a delightful residence within a location to match.
What the Owner says:
When we were looking for a home many years ago, we wanted somewhere that we could downsize to, but that had something different about it, with a garden to spend time in. There just didn't seem to be anything that fitted the bill. However, as soon as we approached the gates here, we just knew this would be the one.
Parking is never a problem as there is plenty of room on the driveway and having the double garage for extra space and storage has been a real bonus.
I will miss living here, but will be taking away many happy memories with me. I hope the next owners have just as much enjoyment as we have.
