Property description

This great 2 bedroom bungalow is ideal for those looking to downsize who are worried about other properties they have viewed being too small! The extended living space means you have a versatile living / dining room in which you can use as much as you like for lounge furniture and then expand the dining space to have room for when all the family visit on a Sunday.

In the summer, you can open up French doors onto the patio to really bring the outside in and enjoy a barbecue with friends. In fact, the garden is perfect for parties. Low maintenance and mostly paved it again has great space and is versatile. If you spend periods away from home, you will not come back to a jungle! Likewise, those who enjoy gardening a bit more can fill it with pots and planters, or develop the beds to create your dream garden.

Back inside, both the bedrooms are a fantastic size so you can have a superb guest room too if you have regular guests. Equally, this does mean that the property would also suit a family too – this could be just the home for you if you are interested in the sought after local primary school.

In terms of location, Barham has great access to the M2 if you commute for work. Those who do not drive will find the buses very handy for getting into town. The village has some great amenities, including of course the all-important village pub.

What the Owner says:

We have owned this property and had it successfully rented out for approximately 4 years now. It has proved a great investment. We chose it as it was an area we knew well already and it certainly did not disappoint. People often assume that a bungalow is best for people looking at retirement but we have actually had all types of tenants. The property has actually proved very popular with young families. The Barham Primary School obviously helps with this. In fact, Barham is a great location for children to grow up and you also have fantastic access to Canterbury, both by car or the good bus service, with the bus stop a short walk away.
