“This house has been a great home for us where we have been able to pursue our hobbies such as painting and creating wooden items. It is also a wonderful place for entertaining friends and family. We have very fond memories of the dining room decorated for the festive season and having up to 16 people sitting round the dining table to enjoy Christmas lunch each year. At the same time, during the summer we can open the doors and wander out into the garden from the dining room and listen to the sounds of the birds and relax on the patio.
While we are only moments from the main road through Whitfield and the A2, where we live is very quiet and peaceful, so we feel we have the best of both worlds. There is a convenience store at the end of the road for essentials while a garage, a large supermarket and DIY stores are not far away. Whitfield is a very friendly community and includes a farmer’s market every week and plenty of activities in the village hall. If you don’t want to drive there is even a National Express drop off in the village for long distance travel and regular bus services to the local towns and villages. We love Canterbury which is only 15 minutes away and France is literally an hour ‘door to door’ so we have excellent access to the Continent.”
