Property description
If you’re looking for the perfect town property away from the hustle and bustle then this is the one for you. With lovely gardens that wrap around the property, there seems to be a green and sunny outlook from every room.
Rarely is there a lot of storage as well as a feeling of spaciousness throughout. With a very comfortable feel to the property there is also scope to make changes to make it the perfect home for you. The kitchen with its granite worktops and oak units is perfect to prepare meals in and with the dining room could easily be opened up to make one impressive space- perfect for family to gather and enjoy views through the patio doors to the garden. Plus the garage could be extended or even converted to a dwelling area (subject to any necessary consents being obtainable). The lounge at end of property offers the chance of a roaring fire and overlooks the rear gardens and summerhouse/office and gives you a feeling of seclusion and enjoys the best of the evening sun.
If you’re looking for that perfect property to downsize and close to town yet feeling private and with enough outside space but not too much then look no further. You don’t see any passing traffic along this lovely quiet avenue of a road, with its beech trees giving it a very rural ‘New England in the fall’ feel close to town.
A spacious bathroom with separate walk in shower with Jack and Jill doors link into the master bedroom suite is ideal and compliments the home beautifully.
What the Owner says:
It’s been a dream living here and we have loved the garden. The quiet location feels like a private road with its mature trees and the council has adopted it and it feels like a well kept secret!
My wife has never driven but it’s easy for her to pop into town but it’s also far enough away to feel nice and tucked away. This was one of the reasons we liked the plot when I built this home! As well as getting the sun all day of course and we do like to sit out in the evening in the summer house in the rear garden enjoying the last of the evening sun.
There’s always plenty space for family to stay when they visit and space for visitors and their cars too.
