Glen Ord Distillery in Muir of Ord and the Black Isle Brewery in Munlochy are two attractions based in the Black Isle. Both are open for visitors to tour.

Other attractions within the wider local area include the child friendly facilities of the Black Isle Wildlife Park at Drumsmittal, North Kessock, Robertsons Children’s Farm and Larder in Beauly, and the Highland Museum of Childhood at the Old Station building in Strathpeffer.

Dolphin watching is popular at Chanonry Point at Fortrose.
