I am sure we don't need to convince you of the popularity of this area - Talfourd Road is a quiet, attractive street close to Bellenden Road with all its useful shops and restaurants, including the wonderful Ganapati and The Begging Bowl. There is also a super bookshop, a good dry-cleaners, funky florists, a top boutique and an art gallery (Moca). For pints and yummy nosh check out the Victoria Inn - a much loved local boozer. Regular trains from Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill go to Victoria, Blackfriars and London Bridge. Work in the City? Door to door, you can reach Canary Wharf et al in around 30 minutes on the fab London Overground line. Catch a bus from the bottom of the road and enjoy the sights en route to Notting Hill. Nippers?
