Property description
When searching for your next home, it is always important to make sure that the location is good and that the house will give you the space that your family needs. This property fits the bill nicely.
Tucked away on a one-way street, there is very little traffic apart from those living there or visiting locally. Not having cars and vans whizzing past the front windows all the time was something that appealed to the current owners when they were weighing up properties within this area. Having discovered this quiet little road running past Marbles Pond, they felt that it was ideally positioned to be able to take a quick stroll across Burgh Heath as well as walk to Tattenham Corner with the shops, restaurants and trains available there.
One of the main things that will have attracted you to this property so far, will be the fact that all three bedrooms have been able to accommodate double beds. This is an important consideration when buying for a growing family and it was another big tick against this house, as all the other properties that they were viewing seemed to always have one ‘box’ room. So for those of you with children who will want their own room, there will be little difference to fight over who gets what bedroom.
What’s more, it has the added advantage of having a conservatory at the rear - a nice spot to enjoy the view of the private rear garden. The kitchen also benefits from a utility area - great for noisier appliances or extra storage. Even better there is off road parking and no onward chain.
What the Owner says:
This family home feels very private as it is not overlooked and is on a one way street. The garden is in a great position and gets sunshine throughout the summer days. The trees at the end of the garden ensure further privacy. The conservatory is a lovely place to enjoy the garden in the winter months.
The bedrooms are a nice size and the smaller of the 3 bedrooms has comfortably accommodated a growing teenager.
There are a few shops just around the corner and a large supermarket just 10 minutes walk across the woods. The new development of the local sports centre makes this an ideal family home.
The neighbourhood is also welcoming and friendly.
