WHAT THE OWNERS SAY : OAKDALE has been our family home for the past 34 years.Being surrounded by National Trust land enabling us to wander
straight onto Holmwood Common from the back garden has been a pleasure. In the summer, pre-dinner party drinks on the terrace admiring the arboretum and at Christmas a huge tree and welcoming log fire in our oak panelled drawing room.
A single conker that we planted in the garden 25 years ago has matured and is now producing conkers of its own.
Our children, who were 5 and 3 when we moved here, have matured and flown the nest.
It's now time for us to move on.
