I can still remember back in 1976 when my wife and I walked inside the lounge and she knew straight away that it was right for us! We loved the lounge being so light and airy. We extended the house to the side and rear not long after we moved in and the layout now works so well. The dining area leads nicely into the oak-fitted kitchen and through to the utility area and my old "dark room" where I used to print my black and white pictures!

The landscaping of the gardens has been a real labour of love but it is now taking me longer to keep up as I'm getting older. The soil is great for growing leeks and other vegetables and it looks a real picture when the flowers come into bloom.
