Property description
What a home! As you walk down the gravel drive this charming home looks intriguing yet modest. You only need to step inside and the home unfolds. The farmhouse style kitchen/breakfast areas are where you can imagine spending a lot of time sharing coffee with a friend or preparing an evening meal.
There is something very indulgent about the magnificent lounge where you can look forward to relaxing in the evenings with a roaring fire on the go. There is a family room which you can even utilise as a games room or even as a 5th bedroom should you need it.
You can finish your day off relaxing in the bath, of which the bathroom has recently been refurbished. You shouldn't have to worry about anyone interrupting as there is also an additional shower room.
With a sunny aspect garden you are bound to make the most of the outdoors. The owners have a double garage built so if you want to keep your car out of the elements you still have plenty of room for a workshop area or simply just for storage.
The home is located on a good bus route to both Canterbury and Dover and you can always walk to nearby Kearsney train station. By car you can be on the A2 within a couple of minutes so commuting from here is a good prospect.
What the Owner says:
We immediately fell in love with the character of this home and the fact that it was unique compared to anywhere else we had seen.
We have often had big get togethers, whether its been in the more formal dining room or out in the garden. Having the family room has been ideal to serve up accompaniments for BBQ's and our children and grandchildren, love running around outside. It has been said that when the sun is out you could be fooled into thinking that you are on holiday whilst sitting outside.
Our home has proven to be very flexible as we have used it as a 3/5 bedroom when relatives were staying.
