Property description
Are you a busy professional couple looking for your first home? Perhaps you are looking for a little more greenery than the City can offer, or downsizing for retirement even? Then the charming character of this Victorian cottage will be a rare treat for you!
From the moment you approach the house you get a real sense of seclusion and beauty being surrounded by pretty cottages and views of St. Johns Church to the front. Upon entering you can sense the warm and cosy feel of this house, especially when the open fire is roaring away. Effortlessly flowing from one room to another, it has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated to maximise light and space. With two double bedrooms you have ample room for visiting guests or children, you can't fail to be impressed.
Open your back door and be stunned by the beauty of the recently landscaped garden, the vision of our current owner was to enjoy the garden and to spend time in it rather than slave over it!
The location really is idyllic, you feel you could be in a quaint country village, surrounded by open green areas with the local school just across the road. Take a stroll straight from your front door and be on the common in no time at all. Why not stop at The Plough, a great country pub right on your doorstep, or grab a bite to eat at the Pendleton at St. Johns renowned for being one of the best places to eat in the local area. Redhill or Earlswood train stations are just a few minutes away and can get you into the City in around 30 minutes.
What the Owner says:
As soon as I saw this property I knew it was for me! I loved the sunny kitchen and the private, south facing garden. The area is quiet and the neighbours friendly, I've really enjoyed living here over the last 12 years.
If you are like me and enjoy being in the country but want the convenience of good restaurants, delis and coffee shops nearby then you are in luck. Reigate has great shops and places to eat and offers easy access to the North Downs with fantastic routes for walking and cycling
Having to get to London for work has been no problem at all in any weather as it's just a short walk to either station not adding too much time to your working day.
