Property description
If you have always dreamed of finding a family home that you can put your own stamp on, this property will surely tick all the boxes! Located in a popular residential area there are local schools within walking distance as well as being only a 5 minute walk to Redhill mainline train station which provides direct links into London, making it extremely convenient for anyone looking to commute.
When you walk through the front door, in spite of the fact that it is almost like stepping back in time, the house has a welcoming feel to it and this is largely due to the fact it has been a well-loved home for almost 50 years to the same family.
Whilst the property is already very spacious with a large lounge area and dining area, as well as another reception room which is currently the study but could be a family room, there is huge potential to extend further (subject to the necessary consents) the possibilities are endless!
One of the real gems here is the amount of outside space. There is plenty of parking on the driveway which is great when you have visitors or a family get together. The rear garden is a peaceful haven, tucked away and not really over looked so it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind at the end of the day.
Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances. What the Owner says:
This house has been in the family since our parents moved here in 1967 and it has been a wonderful family home, both for us growing up there and over the years visiting our parents with our own families and children.
We remember fun times at the house as children – racing around on our bikes and round and round the garden, it was always a safe place to play. The house has also been host to many a family gathering at Christmas – sometimes with 10 or 12 of us sitting down for dinner!
We hope the next owners can breathe new life into the house and enjoy as many happy times as we have.
