To the west are the wonderful open spaces of Bodmin Moor ideal for walking and riding. To the east is Dartmoor National Park and to the South the hidden treasures of the Tamar Valley steeped in 18th centuary mining history.
The city of Exeter is some 42 miles to the east via dual carriageway providing inter city rail link, M5 motorway link and international airport. The city of Plymouth is 28 miles south providing continental ferry port and intercity rail link.
