Property description

We are delighted to offer onto the market, this delightful detached property, with three reception rooms and four double bedroom with one en-suite, plus the added bonus of a garage and off road parking.

Set in the highly sought after village location of Plumpton Green, this home was built in the late 1980’s and on stepping over the threshold you will not be disappointed.

This property has ample space to offer and is perfect as a family home. You will be instantly struck by the welcoming spacious hallway. The lounge is an exceptional light and bright space stretching over the whole width of the house at the rear, over-looking the pretty, private, secluded garden.

Plumpton Green is everything a country-loving commuter could want. There are good local pubs and restaurants, a village hall and post office, a friendly convenient store just across the road and excellent local schools. The train station provides a fast hourly service to London and it's surrounded by idyllic countryside with views of the South Downs.

A short drive away you will find the Historic County Town of Lewes and nearby Haywards Heath offers further amenities.

What the Owner says:

In 1996 my family found this house for me to buy, newly built, on the site of the old village hall (a new village hall has been built on the village green).

I was surprised by the construction and design being of the highest quality. Plumpton station has frequent trains to London Victoria, plus there is a substantial village shop and post office opposite.

Sadly having lived here for 18 happy years, due to hearing difficulties, I have to move to sheltered housing.

I shall miss the racecourse, the NADFAS lectures in the village hall and my friends and neighbours.
