Property description

The wonderful, flexible accommodation offered by this charming extended bungalow creates the perfect home for either downsizers or a growing family.

For those looking to downsize perhaps with an eye on one level living, the two double bedrooms on the ground floor and the downstairs bathroom are ideal. The rear facing bedroom has a lovely aspect onto the rear garden, and the front room has a charming bay window overlooking the mature front garden and onwards to St Peters Church.

The living room, which benefits from the same delightful aspect from an equally attractive bay window, is a large room with plenty of space for cosy sofas and armchairs with enough spare for the dog!

The separate dining room is perfect for entertaining and everyday living, sensibly located adjacent to the kitchen, and the oak staircase which leads to the first floor is gorgeous.

Keen cooks will love the large kitchen and there is a lovely view over the garden while you are washing up! The space for an American style fridge freezer should keep the ravenous kids/ big kids happy and there is plenty of room for a further chest freezer in the boot room or out in the garage/workshop.

The two first floor bedrooms have the benefit of an upstairs toilet and shower, and the main bedroom has a wonderful walk in wardrobe as well as a fabulous view not just over the garden but onwards over the village & the North Downs beyond.

What the Owner says:

Heading out from my front door I love passing the Church and the village Green on my short stroll the shops or any number of events in the village - there is so much to do! A longer walk with the dogs down to the woods is invigorating, and a quick stop off for a drink in the pub on the way home highly recommended.
The wonderful oak doors and oak panelling in the hallway (from the original owner’s ship!) is a uniquely warm welcome home. The garden is an absolute delight, well planted with so much of interest. I love the seclusion, particularly in the spring and summer, when plenty of wildlife is drawn here by the trees and pond.
The parking is amazing and consequently we have been able to use the garage as a full blown workshop complete with toilet!
