- Fork left onto the A3072 and follow this road for about 7 miles
- Turn right at De Bathe Cross as signed to North Tawton
- Proceed down through the town, keeping left into Fore Street
- Proceed over the river bridge at the bottom of the town
- Take the next right turning as signed Winkleigh
- Follow this lane for about ¼ of a mile
- Take the first left into a farm lane, and proceed through the gates and arch on your right
