The 356 bus goes from the bus stop on Kirkdale at the end of Mount Ash Road and goes directly to and from Forest Hill station in around 5 minutes. The 176 bus runs along Kirkdale heading for Oxford Circus. Forest Hill Pool is a short walk away if you fancy a dip (or check out the gym or exercise classes). Local convenience stores are only a short walk away on Kirkdale, or try Dulwich Village, Crystal Palace and Lordship Lane (each only a few minutes drive) for more retail, dining and leisure options. Parks are plentiful; you have Dulwich Woods, Dulwich Park, Crystal Palace Park and the local Sydenham parks (Wells, Mayow and Cator) all within easy reach. The renowned Horniman Museum offers a lovely Sunday outing with the kids!
