Property description
This property did not gain its name from an island to the north of England although anyone that knows the peace and tranquillity the area offers would be forgiven for thinking so. Nor was it named after the folk rock band. It was actually named after the builders wife ‘Linda’. Every happy home tells many stories and this is certainly no exception.
Picture the whole family gathered round in the spacious living room. Plenty of space for grand parents, sons and daughters. Why not invite the whole family round and cook a traditional Sunday roast for everyone. Sit around together and discuss all the latest news and gossip.
After dinner take a stroll down the road and along the footpath at the bottom of the road emerging at the bottom with breathtaking sea views. Take a quiet walk along the leas and across the beach enjoying the afternoon sun.
If you consider yourself to be slightly more active then why not take advantage of some of the coastal water sports on offer and take up sailing. Or even horse riding if you prefer to stick to dry land.
Either way there is always plenty to keep the whole family entertained here on the Isle of Sheppey.
* Please note the solar panels on the roof are on a 25 year lease. Terms and conditions are available upon request.
What the Owner says:
When my late wife and I bought the property it was brand new. We had no idea at the time how many years we would share together at the property or that 3 generations of our family would grow up there.
My wife was a house proud woman and the property has always been kept to a high standard. She made sure we all kept the house clean and tidy while she spent endless hours tending to the gardens surrounding it.
It’s been a happy home for all of us and it’s one we will all sorely miss.
