Lybster is a small fishing vilage on the east coast of scotland 12miles south of Wick and app 28 miles south of John O Groats, it was a very busy place in the days of the herring fishing app mid / late 1800ds. It has a good harbour a post office, bank, 2 hotels, cafe, shop, 9 hole golf course, primary school, nursery, good local bus service and stagecoach all within the village. The town of Wick has a railway station and an airport
