When we first saw this seven bedroom property we knew it was just what we had been looking for.
We were going to buy a four bedroom property in Goldings Hill until we saw this residence, we were totally impressed by the number of bedrooms and the size of the garden, so much so that we made an immediate decision to purchase.
Our favourite space within the home is the lounge/dining area, which has an ‘L’ shaped arrangement and has been very useful for when entertaining family and friends. Equally as special to us is the large garden, extending to approximately 200ft, we have held many parties within the garden and we have thoroughly enjoyed the space, sitting on the patio at the end of the day is a perfect way to relax.
When we first moved in the kitchen was located to the front, which we felt was impractical when the children were playing in the garden. We transferred the kitchen to the rear reception room and refurbished the kitchen at the same time, turning the original kitchen into the study/playroom. In addition to this we combined the sitting room and dining room in order to create a spacious living and entertaining space. The location has been ideal, we are tucked away behind a small green, yet we are virtually equal distance of Loughton town centre and Debden, both with a selection of shops and central line tube stations.
