Property description

An affordable three bedroom family home with a large garden and stunning views over the distant countryside towards Barcombe and Malling Hill.

The lounge is the perfect place to kick back and relax after a hard day. Why not curl up on the sofa in front of the open fire and lose yourself in a good book or your favourite T.V. drama. If you have children, the modern kitchen will be the hub of the home, keep an eye on the kids while you cook the dinner and they do their homework, then gather around the table for the evening meal to catch up on the days events. There are three good size bedrooms for the family to grow into or guests to stay and the storage lobby is really handy to hide away laundry, housework appliances, coats and muddy boots. There may also be scope for a loft conversion (subject to planning permission). The sunny rear garden has plenty of space for children to run around whilst the adults have a natter with a coffee on the decking. It's also great for BBQ's in the summer and with a greenhouse and a veg patch, you could have a go at growing your own food too.

Lewes is the historic county town of East Sussex and offers a wealth of independent and High Street shops, many cafes, restaurants and traditional public houses. There is a mainline train station with direct links to London and Brighton and schools are well regarded. There is also a good bus service close to the house that goes into the town centre.

What the Owner says:

Having viewed many properties within the Lewes market, I realised very quickly that this house offered me good size accommodation for my family. It is a lovely sunny house and cosy in the winter with the open fire blazing. The development potential was an attraction too and being on the end of the terrace offers good privacy and seclusion and the views are wonderful.

It's a nice walk into town, especially if you go via Pells pond and it has easy access to countryside walks via the banks of the river Ouse or onto the Downs past the Old Racecourse is excellent.
