Trains run from Brading and Sandown to Ryde, with inward links via the catamaran or hovercraft to Portsmouth, with connective train services to London and beyond. Newport the County Town of the Island is approximately 8 miles to the west with an extensive range of facilities and amenities, with Ryde being approximately 4 miles to the North.
