MUDEFORD SPIT Off the Eastern end of Hengistbury Head is Mudeford Sandspit. Today this sandspit hosts a collection of wonderful beach huts along with a fine beach. The sandy beach, on the eastern side, faces the Solent and looks out across to the Isle of Wight. This beach offers good bathing and magnificent views as well. The harbour side is protected and is a great place to learn how to sail or windsurf and enjoy all watersports
BEACH HUT 272 Situated in a fantastic spot on Mudeford Spit at the Western end of the Spit it has direct views over the harbour and partial views out over the Solent to the Needles, it has access onto the beautiful golden sand. It is slightly set back giving you extra privacy. Set up the BBQ on the decked patio and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with a drink and friends as the sun sets.
With the sea on one side and the harbour on the other you have the choice of swimming spots. The harbour is the perfect place to learn any watersports or hone your skills. The Beach House restaurant is in easy walking distance and is a great place to enjoy dinner with guests or your family. Attached to the Beach House is a small convenience store that you can buy a couple of your daily essentials and ICE CREAMS.
