Occupying a delightful elevated position within this long established residential area of Guisborough, to the West of Hutton Lane, is this outstanding chalet style detached residence. Constructed by the reputable local builder Peacock in 1959, the property has, over the years, been imaginatively remodelled internally and most notably during 2013 underwent a comprehensive programme of refurbishment by the present owners, to whom the property is a total credit. Requiring an internal inspection to be appreciated, it is now offered in beautiful 'ready to move into' order throughout, with a stunning fitted kitchen and a luxurious wet room. The first floor bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room and the versatile layout of the accommodation is such that the property is equally well suited either as a retirement bungalow with guest accommodation at first floor level or as a family home, there being considerable scope for further development and the creation of additional accommodation at first floor level, subject to the necessary planning consent. Neighbourhood shopping facilities lie just around the corner on Esk Close and the property has the benefit of being within the catchment of Highcliffe Primary School - an establishment of excellent repute, which again lie just around on the corner on Hutton Lane. The historic town centre with its range of shopping facilities and amenities lies within three quarters of a mile away and Guisborough is well placed for access to the Coast, the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the industrial centres of Teesside. Externally there is a splendid brick double length garage served by a long drive and the gardens are a particular feature, extending to a considerable size and having been beautifully landscaped over the years so as to now, in their maturity, offer complete privacy and seclusion, the rear garden being west facing and forming a real sun trap. This really is A SPLENDID SUBSTANTIALLY BUILT AND IMPECCABLY MAINTAINED DETACHED RESIDENCE STANDING IN PRIVATE GARDENS IN A FIRST CLASS RESIDENTIAL AREA - highly recommended.
