We waited about two years to find a location like this and loved it so much that we weren't put off by the amount of work that was needed.
We've updated the whole house including extending the kitchen and adding the en-suite and downstairs cloakroom.
We've also spent a lot of time on the garden, which is really secluded and a lovely place to relax. The large raised decking at the back gives perfect views across the forest.
We converted the original garage into another reception room and built a detached garage which has power and lighting and an electric roller door which is really convenient.
It's a perfect family home but now has come the time for us to downsize.
