Property description
Moving from your own home to a retirement apartment can be a major adjustment. It shouldn't be a negative thought; the image it may conjure up of losing identity and independence is far from true. It's all about being in a safe environment where you don't have the worries of what is happening outside. It's about life being simple and straightforward. This is a good size one bedroom apartment. It has everything one could need, a lounge with a balcony that enjoys the afternoon sun, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom with built-in wardrobe. The only difference between this apartment and most others is the lack of a washing machine as the building has its own separate laundry area. Homepine House gives you the perfect balance between independence and support. There is a large communal lounge for friends to gather and there is a comprehensive entertainments programme, ranging from past times and activities to groups and social clubs. Everything here is geared around making life as straightforward and fun as possible. Away from the complex, The Leas promenade is only a stone's throw away where walks are blessed with stunning scenery or you may wish to enjoy one of the many shows available to watch at the Leas Cliff Hall. In the opposite direction the town centre provides an assortment of amenities to suit your every need.

As I suffer from asthma we bought this flat in 2008 as a second home believing sea air would be beneficial to my health. This indeed was the case and my health is now much improved. Homepine House has been perfect. There are many events and activities you can join in with, but if you prefer to keep yourself to yourself your privacy is respected. The location is brilliant, just behind the Leas Bandstand, close to local shops. There is a long lease up to the year 2122. As we now need cash we are reluctantly putting the flat up for sale. There is also an option to buy all the listed remaining furniture thus providing a ready-made second home for the purchaser, if required
