Property description
WOW! When you close your eyes and imagine how you’ll feel putting the key in your own front door for the very first time, and how impressed your visitors will be – the anticipation will be as exciting on your first night as your last – just wait and see! Our client has lived here for 25 years.
This is a home that will make you smile from the moment you come up the drive after a hard day’s work. Behind the front door awaits a delightful and enchanting home, a fantastic inglenook open fire and the roar of burning logs await to warm you on the coldest of winter days.
The kitchen was extended some years ago to offer 21st century living luxury and now offers space to sit around the kitchen table and fine dine, there is even plenty of room to make part of it a study area!
Upstairs awaits the flashy and extremely well executed stylish shower room that would not be out of place in the best hotel. The landing is unusual and offers a couple of landings for dressing or putting and arm chair it has a vaulted ceiling (that subject to approval may give space to add another room)
Outside you have the convenience of a garage and parking rarely found with a period cottage and the garden runs to the side and rear so far away from the normal courtyard size associated with cottages.
What the Owner says:
We have lived here for about 25 years it has offered us everything we had originally hoped for from village living plus lots more, we can walk to the two local inns for a drink without getting the car out. In the village centre is the local shop ideal for picking up a paper or pint of milk.
The garden was a real draw for us, we like greenery and when we put in the decking it just made alfresco dining and BBQ’s a must through the summer months. But the best thing for us is the open fire and the huge kitchen to gather in, that along with the parking & garage made this an easy decision to move here.
We are now moving to a home without stairs, and offer our cottage with no onward chain.
