Property description
Sat in the expansive lounge taking in the view through the French doors over the secluded rear garden, you could be forgiven in thinking that you were in the countryside.
Whilst this detached home is in a cul-de-sac setting, it is also only a short walk to the town centre, train station, primary and secondary schools.
A dual aspect lounge takes centre stage amongst the ground floor. The bay window illuminates the room and is aided by the previously mentioned French doors. There's plenty of room for the sofas and room for plenty more! Should the children need an area for toys then they'll be pleased at the amount of room they could utilise. You on the other hand may not!
A separate dining room could be a study or play room if needed. Other similar homes have adapted the layout to knock through in to the kitchen to create a great entertaining and living space.
The kitchen enjoys a pleasant outlook over the rear garden and instead of using your dishwasher you may be excused for wanting to wash up and look out over the garden!
The master bedroom is a sight to behold. Even a queen-sized bed would be swamped in here. A walk in dressing room and en-suite shower room are of huge bonus. The remaining bedrooms are impressive sizes as is the family bathroom.
The garage has a door in to the garden and plenty of storage in the roof has come in very useful to the current owners.
What the Owner says:
We had visited East Grinstead on many occasions and liked the town. We were persuaded to view this house and whilst on first view, it required more updating than we would have hoped, the location was more than adequate and we liked the situation and outlook.
Since moving in we have replaced some of the double glazing, redecorated throughout, tiled the flooring in the hallway, kitchen and cloakroom. We have also changed the garden layout at the front and the rear. The ground floor radiators (except the cloakroom) have all been replaced too.
We'll miss the convenience of living here. It's quiet and yet close to the town. The neighbours have been fantastic too. Forest Way is nearby too.
