We had looked at about ten houses in one day and when we viewed this house we knew it was the one. It was close to both the local primary and secondary schools as well as being within walking distance of the mainline train station.
Since moving in we have extended to the rear and added the porch and cloakroom. We altered the upstairs layout to benefit our sons as they got older.
We'll miss the kitchen/diner and as well as the space in there the under-floor heating will be hard to replace!
We would not be moving had we not have had the chance of a lifetime come up. Even then, we'll be sad to go.
