Property description
This beautiful, extended property has to be the ideal home with the perfect amount of land. Whether you choose to have horses, chickens, or sheep you have views of your fields from the property combined with excellent access.
The size and layout is perfect if you have family or friends coming over to stay or you just want to enjoy your own land and your fantastic master suite, sitting in the bath with floor to ceiling windows looking out across the open countryside.
With outbuildings galore there is the perfect garaging and workshop for that classic car or barn for storage or gym. The outside accommodation could be used as an office or craft room.
Each room is a pleasant surprise, a beautiful lounge to the master suite and a really flexible assortment of rooms downstairs. You also have a utility room and shower room which could easily be used as a separate annexe, perfect for family or long term guests.
Although it feels you’re in the middle of the country you don’t feel too remote, but you do get this sense of total privacy, one of the nicest things about this property. With all the work that has been invested by the current owners, it’s easy to see why it’s such a magnificent place to live in, incredibly quiet as well. It’s easy to see why with a wood burning stove its equally enjoyable in the winter as in the summer. Subject to necessary consents being obtainable there may be potential to extended the property even further.
What the Owner says:
I knew it was the house for us when we looked over the gate at the view (when you come you'll understand). Because of its position we forgave the house looking unloved and knew that we would be able to bring it back to life with a bit of TLC! We feel its now time to move as we don't have any horses or livestock anymore and it will give someone the opportunity to enjoy the property to its full potential.
There is also the scope to sell produce such as eggs, fruit and vegetables at the gate as we have done.
There are numerous footpaths and bridleways to enjoy close by and the village has a convenience store with post office. Heathfield and Mayfield provide all other amenities.
