We bought this apartment ten years ago as a holiday/weekend home and liked it so much we were sometimes reluctant to return to the mainland. In the summer we loved to sit in the garden or walk to the beaches and in winter it was very cosy. It was very secure, too. In fact, we liked it so much that we have lived in it full time for nearly four years since retirement. However, we’ve now decided to move to a detached house with a larger garden. This apartment has been great for visitors, as they can have their own space at one end; there are clever folding doors, which ensure privacy for the guests and undisturbed sleep for us when young families visit.
