Property description
If you are looking for a rural retreat on the edge of a pretty West Sussex village but without the maintenance needs and requirement of an older cottage then this modern three bedroom semi detached house could just fit the bill, situated in a quiet cul de sac in the north east corner of the village, it is close enough to enjoy all that village life has to offer including a choice of friendly pubs, amazing local bakery, local store and post office, choice of quality take aways and restaurants, as well as wonderful walks in all directions spreading out towards Southdowns national park and Stanstead House, and south towards the Chichester harbour with its costal paths and water based leisure activities.
When at home a spacious interior awaits with a through lounge/diner and modern fitted kitchen, and in the summer the delightful and pretty garden comes into its own with an abundance of flowering plants and shrubs.
Double glazed and centrally heated it is warm cosy and snug in winter and yet with french doors in summer it allows you to bring the outside in, or eat al fresco without having to move away from the back of the house.
If you have young children then primary schooling for infant and junior age groups is well established in the area and is a particular draw to young families, and the environment gives space and security for family to enjoy life like it used to be.
What the Owner says:
We moved here 27 years ago from Hayling Island and have really enjoyed living in this lovely home, it has been a great place to bring up our daughter. We will be sad to leave as the area is so friendly, peaceful and quiet, there are only a few houses in the cul de sac.
We love being able to walk into the village for a sunday paper or pint of milk without having to negotiate busy roads or the hustle and bustle of town life. We love fronting onto the water meadow as it means nothing can be built in front of us and is a delight to see the wildlife it brings with it.
We love our garden and all that comes with it and hope the next owners enjoy it as much as we have.
