Property description
Dunraven Avenue was once part of the ‘Monotype’ a Victorian works with many of the workers and families living in the late Victorian terraces.
Over the years the terraces have attracted young families and couples who love the period houses and sense of community the Avenue has to offer. With the Salford’s mainline railway station minutes away it now ideal for commuters with London under a hour away.
Within minutes of the property you have stunning countryside perfect for Sunday walks after a hearty meal.
After parking on the front driveway you get out of the car to see the attractive facade enticing you in to the property, once in you will not be disappointed with the high ceilings and period feel the house has to offer.
The lounge is a great space to unwind after a long days work. With the kitchen off the dining area there is plenty of room for the children to do the homework while you cook up a feast.
Upstairs there is a great sense of space with 3 well proportioned bedrooms again with high ceilings and large windows.
The garden is big enough to enjoy in the warmer months but won’t tie you down with work to maintain it. A brilliant open space for the children to run and play, perfect for barbecuing and enjoying the sunshine.
What the Owner says:
When we first started to look for a home we needed somewhere quiet for the family and didn’t want to live on an estate but couldn’t compromise on location as we both work long hours and need the motorway and railway on our doorstep. We really landed on our feet here as there is a great community feel here right next to the countryside and it's only minutes away from Salford’s railway station. Just down the road you have a selection of shops, eateries and pubs making it convenient with our busy life style.
We are very happy here but job opportunities have opened up further afield and it’s time to say good bye. We will miss the avenue but we know couples and young families will love the house.
