About the area
Alford is a small, friendly and conveniently situated village, with its own parish church, located between Lovington and Castle Cary. Lovington is also a popular village with a church, primary school and a well regarded pub/restaurant. The historic market town of Castle Cary is just a few minutes drive to the east and has a mainline railway station to Paddington as well as Doctors, Dentist, Library, Privately owned Supermarket, Greengrocer, Butcher, Bank, Post Office and numerous independent shops.
