For us finding Fairholme was a definite case of love at first sight. As soon as we moved in we were warmly greeted by our helpful neighbours, and quickly came to the view that this is just the friendliest street in the town. During the ten years we've lived here, the house has been a base for foreign language students, a thriving B & B and a four-generation family home for us. Everyone who has stayed or lived here has said there's a very special, warm feel to the place. We've done a lot of work to the house, putting in en-suites, improving the garden and adding a whole new modern kitchen. But we've also managed to keep all the wonderful original features. Now that we have retired and closed the business, its time for us to make the downsizing move. We'll be sad to go, but hope the new owners are very happy here.
