Property description
‘Edgewood’ is a house with that extra something that makes it the perfect home for large families. With so many larger homes being converted to businesses like dentists and nursing homes, houses of this calibre are becoming a rarity.
The large double garage offers the ideal space for the family car and bikes, with an abundance of parking at the front for guests you never have to park far from the front door.
The main residence is oozing period features; the wood panelling in the formal entrance hall leads you around the ground floor and upstairs inviting you to hang family pictures and photos in the galleried landing.
The large indulgent reception space overlooks the rear gardens giving you a nice private aspect to unwind after a day’s work. If you want a low maintenance garden or something a little more extravagant you will be delighted at the room available.
The converted garage is ideal for working from home or a great hobby space. At bedtime you have 6 large bedrooms to choose from, with the potential of adding en-suites this period home can be modernised to give you the luxury you deserve.
With an aesthetic twist and a little imagination you could have the perfect marriage of old and new making this a premium family home.

This house has been in our family for many years now. We have lived in the Horley area for generations running guest houses for the Gatwick travellers. With a large family this has been the perfect family home because of the large adaptable floor space and spacious gardens.
Over the years we have had many happy memories here with busy lives, family time is so important and we have not had to compromise as it's in a great location in a premium road next to the town centre and station.
With the addition of an annex to the side it now has a perfect space for elderly relatives and the occasional visitor.
